Sustainable Small Farming and Ranching

If you're starting a small farm or thinking about it, this course is for you! 
Sustainable Small Farming and Ranching is a 12 week course that introduces new and prospective farmers to the fundamentals of small acreage farming and ranching.
Topics include but are not limited to.  
Organic Crop Production
Soil Management
Pest Management
Weed Management
Poultry and Livestock
Facilities and Equipment
Farm Economics
Direct Marketing
Cost: $260 per farm (up to 3 participants)

Cultivating SuccessTM is offered by the WSU Small Farms Program, in collaboration with WSU Skagit County Extension and Skagit Valley College. Skagit County courses are Bilingual (Eng/Esp) and facilitated by Viva Farms.
